Ronald Henderson

Ronald L. Henderson, 76, of Forest Lake, died peacefully at his home on June 4, 2011 following a period of failing health. Ronald was born in Lawrence, KS on July 5, 1934, son of the late Lyman S. Henderson and Rosemary Frances Henderson. An Air Force Veteran, he went into the field of computer programming in it's pioneering stages in the 1950's. He worked for General Electric on various projects, including early space launches. He later worked for Honeywell in the Metro DC area and Minnesota on various projects. In From 1988-2010, Ron ran his own successful computer consulting company, Logical Concepts, in Forest Lake. His primary interests in life were his family and home-life first and foremost, computers, music, philosophy, spirituality and astrology. Survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia (O'Hagan) Henderson of Forest Lake; his four sons, L. Scott Henderson of Forest Lake, David C. Henderson of New Hampshire, Mark R. Henderson of Maryland, Daniel S. Henderson of Forest Lake; his granddaughter A. Carlee Henderson of Minneapolis; his sister Karen (Henderson) Easterling of Florida; and extended family. Per Ron's request, there will be no public services. Memorials may be made to either the American Cancer Foundation or the National Parkinson's Foundation Minnesota (NPFM).
