Ronald Meron

Ronald "Ron" Meron, 75, of Forest Lake, formerly Mounds View, passed away April 9, 2017 after battling COPD. Preceded in death by father, Emil; mother, Bea; brothers, Larry, Darrell and Duane. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Jan; brothers, Denny, Tom, Mike and sister, Rose; children, Jodie (Buddy), Jason (Shannon), Bobbie; grandchildren, Luke, Casi, Brandi, Brittani, Jake and Sam. Ron served in the U.S. Navy, retired from Hennepin County as a court reporter, worked as a realtor and was an avid car collector. Celebration of his life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 14, 2017 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Gathering from 10:30-11:30a.m. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
