Ronald H. Steiner, age 60, of Stacy, died, Saturday, June 12, 2004. Ronald was born April 30, 1944 in St. Paul, Minnesota the son of Howard and Margaret (Wellnitz) Steiner. He graduated from Cretin High School, St. Paul. After graduation he served his country in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge he was united in marriage to Rosaline Mash on August 8, 1971 in South Dakota. Ronald worked for 26 years as a machinist at Wyoming Machine. Though some may have called it a job, this was not the case for Ronald. He looked forward to going to work everyday. His co-workers were part of an extended family to him. In addition to his work he enjoyed going to garage sales to find that Aunique somethingA. He would then test everyone by asking them what they thought this was or how old it was. He would then remind them that he got it for such a deal. He took great pride in everything he owned. Everything was treated with such care, from a package of new socks to his lawn chairs and everything in between. That care was also given to his beloved wife. Taking care of Rosaline was his main priority and it showed. Following her death he poured all his love and care into his family, especially his three grandchildren. He loved teasing them, playing, fishing and just being together. In addition to being an excellent husband, father and grandfather he was a true friend to all. AOld MillA had a genuine knack for making friends and keeping in touch throughout the years. Though his memory will live on forever, we will miss him each and everyday. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Rosaline on February 6, 2003. He is survived by his children Jean (Tim) Costello and John (Joan) Scott; grandchildren, Gina Rose, Alexis Mary Rose, Ian Calvert John; brother John (Judy) Steiner; sisters, Mary (Ed) Brennan and Joann (John) Langenbrunner; other relatives and many friends.
