Roy C. Harder
age 83 of Forest Lake
died, Friday, September 21, 2007
Roy lived life to the fullest, beginning in the 1950's when he worked as a stage manager at the Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul. Some of his favorite memories included the time he spent there meeting the stage personalities of that era including Elvis Presley, James Dean and Dean Martin. During his days at the auditorium he also began a career that lasted over 30 years with Standard Oil Company. In the late 1980's Roy purchased the Cornerstone Restaurant in Wyoming, with Paul Raduenz, where he would be seen tending the bar daily. Roy was also an active member of the American Legion Post 225 of Forest Lake and the VFW Post 4210 of Forest Lake, where he served as Past Commander (All State).
