Ruben H. Ladner, age 80, of East Bethel, Minnesota, died Sunday, February 7, 2021. Ruben proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, he was united in marriage to Beatrice Hattery on July 29, 1967. Ruben worked at JA Clark and later Donaldson Company Inc. He retired as a computer program analyst after 30+ years. Ruben and Beatrice retired to Tulsa, Oklahoma on 80 acres. They lived there for 14 years before returning to Minnesota to be closer to their family. Ruben loved building, woodworking and craftsmanship. He was proud to have built their log home in Tulsa. Above all he was a family man who cherished his children and grandchildren. He looked forward to every opportunity to be together. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Adeline (Schaffer) Ladner. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beatrice; children, Craig, Tony (Jaimie), Lina (Dameon); grandchildren, Cullen, Aiden, Hudson, Owen, Gavin, Landon; sisters, Alice Nord, Bernice Dickinson; other family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. To ensure the safety and health of all in attendance, we will be following the guidelines of Executive Order 20-62. Please call for additional information.
Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
