Russ L. Cramblit

Russ L. Cramblit, age 58, of Forest Lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2023.

He grew up and chose to raise his family in North Branch, MNbefore moving to Forest Lake, MN in 2014.  He worked as an automotive painter at Buerkle Body Shop for 34 years before retiring in 2021.

Racing was always his passion.  He started racing go-kart in his mid 20’s and for many years continued to support his two sons with their go-kart racing journey.  His knowledge and enthusiasm for racing also led him into photography and he spent many more years taking and selling racing photos at various tracks in the area.  Eventually he found his way to RC car racing and enjoyed the comradery and tinkering, that came with the hobby, in his retirement years.

He also enjoyed spending time with his wife, Teresa, traveling aimlessly, antiquing, and hitting up any and every bakery.  He lived life and spent every moment FULL TILT.

He is preceded in death by mother, Alene, and brother, Keith.

Survived by wife, Teresa; sons, Joel, Justin; dad, Ernest; brothers, Ernest Jr. (Terri), Kevin (Jodi); nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Dr., Forest Lake.  Family will be greeting friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
