Russell Durant

Russell C. Durant, age 80, of Wyoming, Minnesota, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer. Russell was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota on April 8, 1933, the son of Richard and Gladys Durant. Russell is preceded in death by his first wife, Jean; his second wife, Edith; his son, Keith; his great grandson, Lucio Satar and his step-grandson, Johnathon Pohlan. Russell is survived by his loving wife, Norma Snell; his daughters, Joy and Lennaea; his sons, Reid, John, Greg, Ted and Troy; six step-children; special step-son, Lyle; 23 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; seventeen step-grandchildren; fourteen step-great grandchildren; his brother, Bruce and his sisters, Connie, Betty Lou, Gloria, Lola, Marlys and Darlene. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 5459 Viking Boulevard, Wyoming, with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to family.
