Sandra Jeanne Slater Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister, Grandmother Age 62, of Wyoming, formerly of Hugo MN. Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 18, 2011. Her caring spirit and warm sense of humor lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. Survived by her husband, Roger Slater, with whom she shared 46 wonderful years of marriage; daughters Tammy (Eric) Galler & Rachell (Jim) Wisner; grandsons Jack Galler, Mitchell & Matthew Wisner; sisters Janice Zuvich, Charlotte Lyle, Patricia Garvey, Linda Murdoch, and Nancy McCormick; aunt & uncle Ardes & Fritz Seelow; many other relatives and close friends. Preceded by her parents, Darwin & Deloris DeMert, and stepfather Harold Johnson. Memorial service at NEW LIFE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6000 North 148th Street, Hugo MN at 11:00am, Saturday, January 22, 2011. Memorials preferred to New Life Lutheran Church or the National Stroke Association.
