Sandra “Sandie” Sue Tricker, age 79 of Nisswa, Minnesota, formerly Faribault, Minnesota, passed away on June 22, 2019 at Health East Hospice “The Pillars” in Oakdale, Minnesota. Sandie was born October 31, 1939 in Faribault, Minnesota to Harold and Mabel (Rude) Hildebrandt. She graduated Faribault Senior High School and went on to get her nursing degree at St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota. She started her career at St. Mary’s Hospital and finished at District One Hospital in Faribault, Minnesota. She was married to the love her life, Scott Tricker in 1961. In 2000, they moved to Nisswa where she was active in the Nisswa Women’s Club, her recipe club and church coffee group. She loved collecting recipes and cooking. She was a great story teller and so enjoyed her many friends. Sandie is preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Jim Bennett; special aunt, Marie Behlke. Sandie is survived by her husband and three children, Cindy Tricker, Kelly Bennett, W. Lee (Todd) Tricker-Hess; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sister, Nancy Winjum and dear friend, Craig Bertram.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 5064 County Road 13, Nisswa, Minnesota. Family will greet friends one hour prior to service. Private family interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Memorials may be directed to Mayo Clinic Cancer Center, Lakeview Hospice of Stillwater, or Health East Hospice Care – The Pillars.
