Sarah Morris

Sarah Christine Morris, age 18 of Stacy, passed away peacefully at home on March 9, 2010 after an eight month battle with brain cancer.  Sarah was preceded in death by her Grandma Kathy Morris.  She will be deeply missed by her parents, Michael and Carol; her sister, Amanda; grandparents, Bill Morris, Jack and Lois Kobler; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Sarah loved her two black labs, camping, traveling, snowboarding and spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Forest Lake swim team for six years.  She planned on attending college at River Falls next year to become an elementary school teacher.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota.  Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m., with sharing of memories at 7:30 p.m. Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake continuing 9:00-10:00 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family in care of Mattson Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota 55025.
