Sharon Axling

Sharon Rae Axling, age 67, of Stacy, Minnesota, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 8, 2013. Sharon was born on November 6, 1945 in St. Paul, Minnesota to her parents Cecil and Frances Riggs. Sharon was an avid member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed the time she had with all of her friends. Second to the Red Hat Society, Sharon held her Elvis Presley music and memorabilia close to her heart as well as numerous other hobbies including her bell and hat collections, traveling by train with her dear husband, shopping and dressing tastefully. Sharon is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, Craig Axling; her son, David (Leann) Crosby; her sister, Shirley (Michael) Majetic and two great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 13, 2013 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 31095 Genesis Avenue, Stacy, MN. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Interment at Riverview Cemetery, West Saint Paul. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and may be directed to the family.
