Shirley West

Shirley Marie West, age 85, Lifelong Wyoming Resident Passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on October 18, 2012. Shirley was a devoted mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, and friend. She loved her family, church and friends more than anything. Shirley will be greatly missed by her children, Marie Hanson, Jim (Dorothy), Dave (Cathy), Sue (Jim) Fraley, Doug (Dori); 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, LuElla, Annette (Michael), Floyd (Erni), Lois; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Wendell; 2 infant sons; siblings, Clem, Rich, Veva. Celebration of Life 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 5459 E. Viking Blvd., Wyoming. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Wyoming Methodist Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Wyoming United Methodist Church.
