Sigrid A. (Johnson) Olson of Forest Lake, formerly of Harris, age 90, passed away July 12, 2006 at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming.
Sigrid was born June 17, 1916 in North Branch township to Algot and Anna (Mohl) Johnson. she married Oscar Olson in 1935. To this union three children were born.
A loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Sigrid loved to bake and cook. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and loved watching parades.
Preceded in death by her husband, Oscar; sister, Lilian Lindberg; and an infant brother. She is survived by her children, Marilyn (Edward) Nelson of North Branch, Ann Norberg of Forest Lake, and John Olson of Forest Lake; two grandchildren, Meredith (Todd) Polipnick of North Branch and Corey (Amber) Nelson of Lindstrom; two great grandchildren, Jordan Nelson and Brianna Polipnick.
Funeral service 11:00 AM, Monday, July 17, 2006, MATTSON FUNERAL HOME, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Rev. David Kieppela officiating. Visitation 2-4 PM, Sunday, July 16, 2006, Mattson Funeral Home. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the funeral. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
