Stella Colberg

Stella P. Colberg Age 97 Longtime Forest Lake resident Passed away on October 2, 2012. Stella spent her past 2 ½ years, joyfully, at the Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living in Wyoming. She was a longtime member of Wyoming United Methodist Church. Stella volunteered at Birchwood Health Care Center and Community Helping hand for most of her retired years, and treasured her years spent on Clear Lake. She was preceded in death by her parents, Milon and Ida Peek; her husband, Russell Colberg ; and brothers, Charles and Ernest Peek;. Stella is survived by her daughters, Dianne (John) Hirt, Cynthia (Deloy) Kramer; grandchildren, Kevin (Karen) Hirt, Kristin (Richard) Cobb, Jeffrey (Stephanie) Hirt, Christopher Kramer (Jenn), Kent (Laura) Kramer; eight great grandchildren; and sisters, Eva Grainger, Helen Safford, Edith Nelson. Funeral Service, 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Wyoming United Methodist Church, 5459 Viking Blvd., Wyoming. Visitation 5-8 p.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will continue one hour prior to service at the church. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Foreset Lake Community Helping Hand or Wyoming United Methodist Church.
