Susan E. Cole

Susan E. Cole, age 79, of Forest Lake, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by family on July 24, 2024. 

A passionate lover of movies, Susan found joy in the cinematic world, where she could lose herself in the magic of storytelling. In her youthful days, she embraced the thrill of the open road, as she always rode behind any friend that had room for her on their motorcycle.

Susan's spirit was also fueled by her unwavering support for the Dallas Cowboys, always proudly cheering on her beloved team in the highs and lows of each season. Her dedication to her favorite team mirrored the loyalty she showed to her friends and family, always standing by their side with a warm smile and a kind heart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Eileen Rapp; son, Bryan Cole; sister, Raylne Alcock; brother-in-law, Jerry Alcock; niece, Melissa Raschke. 

She is survived by children, Sandra (Leo) Frost, Donald (Anne) Simms, Denice Cole; grandchildren, Scooter (Alyson) Frost, Robert (Maisie) Frost, Travis (Laura) Frost, Prudence Ledin; great grandchildren, Melissa MacGlover, Catherine Frost, Ben Frost; brother, Dean (Pat) Rapp; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. 

A gathering will be held 10:00 am - 12:00 pm,  on Friday, August 2, 2024, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A continued time of fellowship and food will follow the gathering time at the funeral home. Private family interment at Scandinavian Cemetery, MN.
