Susan Weiss
June 14, 1944 — July 19, 2009
Age 65, of Forest Lake, died Sunday, July 19, 2009.
Born and raised in Forest Lake, she lived many years in Chicago before returning to Forest Lake in early 2000. Susan worked for Associates in Medical Physics and The Education & Research Foundation for the Society of Nuclear Medicine. She was the Past National President of the Nuclear Medical Society.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents Frank & Leila (Holmbeck) Andersen; her sister, Betty Ewald. She is survived by her sister Judith Rydeen; nieces and nephews, William Ewald, Karen (Jerry) Johnson, Tom Ewald, Roger (Peggy) Rydeen, Kathy (Mike) Judson, David (Brenda) Rydeen, Kristin (Matt) Benson; many other relatives and friends; her loving dog Ruffy; and cat Fonzi.
Memorial Service 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Elim Lutheran Church, 20971 Olinda Trail North, Scandia. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior to service at church. Interment in Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake.
