Ted R. Preisler age 74 of Forest Lake
Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather
Died peacefully at home on December 28, 2006. Ted proudly served his country in the army as a sergeant in Japan and Korea. Ted also served as a police officer for Forest Lake and as a Washington County Deputy Sheriff for 31 years. Preceded in death by son Scott Preisler; parents, Joseph and Louise Preisler; brothers Joseph Preisler, Elmer Preisler, George Preisler; sister Ann Anderson; mother and father in law Vera and Ellis Bloom. Survived by his best friend and loving wife of 54 years, Carol Preisler; daughters Jody and Wendy (Kevin) McKinnon; grandchildren, Shawn (Annie) Preisler, Corey (Andrea) McKinnon, Jillian (Joshua) Lehner, Ryan (Heidi) McKinnon, Richard Peloquin, Jillian Preisler, Angela McKinnon, Adam Preisler; 6 8/9ths great grandchildren; brother William Preisler; sister Helen Johnson; sisters-in-law Sue (Fran) Schlaeger, Sharon (Ronald) Peterson and several neices and nephews. Ted will be truly missed by all of his friends and family.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 3:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and continue one hour prior to service at church. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery, Forest Lake.
