Terry L. Morett

Terry Lyn Morett (nee Anglin), passed away Friday August 30, 2024, after a several month-long battle with Ataxia and Prion Disease. Terry was born October 31, 1952 in Pleasanton, California the oldest daughter of six children to John and Milbria (Wilcox) Anglin. Terry led a crafty life from her Halloween hat to sewing her clothes, baby blankets for nephews, nieces, and grandchildren, stained glass, Longaberger baskets, knitting hats and gaiters for breast cancer as well as walking and crewing for the Susan G. Komen 60 miles in 3 days at least 6 times. Terry got involved in Herbal conferences and became a Certified Folk Herbalist along with watercolor painting and sending painted post cards to hospitalized people in need of some joy. As you’ve probably figured out if you needed something, Terry would help you as well as bring some food as she was an excellent cook. Terry worked for TCF Bank for many years as well as a school bus driver before retirement. In her retired life she has traveled most of the lower 48 states as well as just recently for their 50th anniversary an Alaskan cruise. Leaving to mourn her is Duane Welk of 50 years; sons, Dustan Morett, Nathaniel (Tammy) Morett, four grandchildren, Sam, Max, Piper and Ryder; great grandson, John; siblings, Denise (Dave) Fosse, Ty (Dana) Anglin; with many nephews, nieces, great relatives and lifelong friends. Waiting for her are her parents, John and Milbria Anglin as well as siblings, John, Janice and Robin.

The family will greet friends from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. A time of sharing will be held at 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weleetka, Oklahoma at a later date.
