Theodore Autey

Theodore Charles Autey, age 72, of Wyoming, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at home on August 1, 2013.Ted was born on November 17, 1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to parents Roland and Ethel Autey. Ted served in the United States Navy for 28 years. He loved to travel and see the world and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, JoEllen and his grandson, Timothy. He is survived by his wife, Joy, of 50 years; his two sons, John (Heather) Autey and Ted (Dawn) Autey; three grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon and Cordelia Rose and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2013 at Crossroads Evangelical Covenant Church, 17445 Notre Dame Street, Forest Lake. Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Give the Kids the World.
