Theodore Montean

Theodore S. "Ted" Montean, age 86, of Forest Lake, died Monday, October 22, 2012. He was a proud veteran and US Army Ranger. He worked for over 45 years at NSP as a utility worker. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Elsie; wife, Marian; grandson, Shawn Schmidt; siblings, George, Marie, Virginia. He is survived by his children, Denise (Greg) Schmidt, Matthew (Anna), Eric, Kari Montean; grandchildren, Aimee, Shannon, Cheri, Joe, Andy, Nick; two great grandchildren; siblings, Rosalie "Ro" Johnson, Samuel (Pat) Montean. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2012 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment at Scandinavian Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to the family.
