Thomas Boerner

Thomas "Tom" A. Boerner, age 76 of Linwood Twp., formerly of East. St. Paul, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2012, following a long battle with Alzheimer's. Thomas was born August 24, 1935 in Saint Paul, Minnesota the son of Albert and Emma (Johnson). He was a longtime employee of the State of Minnesota Dept. of Public Safety. He is preceded in death by his mother, Emma. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris "Dorie"; their daughters, Jenny and Jodi; son-in-law, Ron Gilbert; grandchildren, Luke and Logan Gilbert, Sophia and Emma Meents; sister, Patricia Skoog and many beloved family and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 5879 Wyoming trail, Wyoming, MN . Visitation will be 4:00-8:00p.m., Thursday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment at Union Cemetery. A celebration will continue following the interment at Cornerstone Pub, 26753 Forest Boulevard, Wyoming. Memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association.
