Thomas Fischer

Thomas J. Fischer, age 54 of East Bethel, Minnesota, passed away at home after battling cancer while surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 6, 2014. Tom was born January 2, 1960 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of John and Gloria (Marx) Fischer. Tom was a kind, caring, and thoughtful person who was always willing to help others. He was a jack of all trades, and there wasn't much he couldn't fix. Tom had a great sense of humor and loved pulling practical jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed motorcycles, camping, fireworks, bonfires and most of all being with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father John Thomas Fischer, and his father in law Ernest Will Seedorff. Tom will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him including his beloved wife Zayna; daughters Caroline (Mike) Jenson and Kimberly Fischer; grandchildren Emma, Ethan, Elliot and James; mother Gloria (Ken) Waha; sisters Julie (Jeff) Garlock, Sherry (Tony) Mitchell and Wendy Marose; mother-in-law Bonnie Seedorff; sister-in-laws Kerri (Loni) Wuornos, Tammy (Dennis) Olsen and Demina (Jason) Popowski; and Tom's many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tom's wishes were to have a private family get together around a campfire to share stories and celebrate his life.
