It is with a heavy heart that we announce Threasa Ellen Steiner (nee Parenteau) of Mora, Minnesota, was called home to heaven on the 24th of February 2024.
Born August 3rd, 1956, to Robert Parenteau and Ellen Thompson, the fifth of nine children. Threasa grew up in Hugo and graduated from White Bear Lake in 1974.
Threasa and her beloved husband, Michael Steiner, were united in marriage for 42 wonderful years. Theirs is a story of unending and boundless love, lifelong partners, true soulmates. Throughout the years four daughters joined them: Joli Steiner (Tom Docken), Lisa (Kris Helmbrecht) Elizabeth Steiner (Leroy St.Aoro) and Kathryn (Jeremy Tews)
Threasa was an accomplished guitarist with an amazing singing voice, and she loved all things musical. She was also a skilled crafter who created gifts that have become treasures, Threasa worked for Healtheast St. Joe’s until her retirement in 2021. She made many friendships there in her decades long career.
Threasa is predeceased in death by both her parents and her eldest brother, Dale. She will be eternally missed by her husband, her children, and her grandchildren: Mya Audette (Wes Lindahl), Conner Audette, Connor Helmbrecht, Aurora and River Docken. Her brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews as well as any who had the pleasure to see her smile or hear her laugh.
A celebration of life will be held on at 12 pm on Saturday, March 2nd, 2024, at The Rice Lake Center in Hugo. Threasa will be buried that morning near her mother and grandmother in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Forest Lake.
