Tyler Eldon Werkheiser

March 5, 2005 — August 17, 2024

Linwood Township

Tyler Eldon Werkheiser, born March 5th 2005, came into the world with no one knowing the impact he would have on our lives. Saturday, August 17th 2024 he was taken from this world in a fatal motorcycle accident leaving his parents, Andrew and Susan along with his older brother Mason. A blessing to say at the least, Tyler loved being with his family and friends who all equally loved being with him. From picking on his dad with his brother to making his friends laugh at any given moment he had a sense of humor no other human has ever had, making him, if he wasn't already, one of a kind. Like his older brother, Tyler loved to try new things.

From self-teaching himself piano with no prior music experience to learning how to ride motorcycle, indoors or outdoors he never failed to show his quick learning and undeniable talents. Tyler loved to have fun, but also loved to work hard. Not only did he make an impact in his personal life, but even in his landscaping crews, new and old, he formed bonds and relationships that were worth so much more. If that wasn't enough, he carried a heart full of Jesus. From going to Church on Sundays with family and group on Tuesdays with his brother he was getting more and more hungry for Jesus each day. Selflessly putting his mom and dad first when it came to helping at the house showed his heart day in and day out. Tyler will forever be missed and never forgotten. He has left so many memories that will make us smile and laugh until the day we see him again in Heaven.

Tyler is preceded in death by his grandma, Barbara Edwards.

He will be deeply missed by those who were honored to know him including his parents, Andrew and Susan Werkheiser; brother, Mason; grandparents, Dale Edwards, Jake and Bobbi Werkheiser; many aunts, uncles, cousins and amazing friends.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Maranatha Church, 24799 Forest Blvd., Forest Lake, Minnesota. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
