Vernon Loren

Loren, Vernon R.Age 75Of Forest Lake, MNPreceded in death by parents, Richard and Gertrude Loren; brother, Gordon Loren; and sister, Lois Loren Froyen. Survived by sister, Genevieve Loren Hedman, Tacoma WA, and nine nieces and nephews. Loren graduated from Forest Lake High School, and served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict. He was a 1957 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College. Loren worked for the Metropolitan Mosquito Control for 28 years until his retirement. Loren was very grateful for a heart transplant in 1992. Memorial Services will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Saturday, March 20, at 4 PM. Memorials preferred to LifeSource, HealthEast Hospice program, or Faith Lutheran Church and can be sent to Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN 55025.
