Vernon Schmit

Vernon D. Schmit, age 58, of Linwood Township, died, peacefully, Sunday, July 7, 2013 with his wife by his side. He is preceded in death by his mother, Margot. He is survived by his wife, Julie; son, Joe (Michelle) Coleman; father, Leo; brothers, Larry (Judy), Al (Catherine); other family and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, 1757 Conway Street, St. Paul. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake; continuing one hour prior to mass at the church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake.
