of Forest Lake, Born and raised in NE Mpls.

died September 26, 2007

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Victoria; brother, Richard.

Survived by his wife of 53 years, Delores; children, Steven (Priscilla), John (Pat), Joyce (Richard) Dupont, Walter "Wally", Jeff, Gordy (Shelley); nine grandchildren; and sister, Mary Ann Mickanen.

Walter was a US Army veteran, a longtime employee of Pacal Steel, and Stu's Standard in Forest Lake.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM, Monday, October 1, 2007 at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation 4-7 PM, Sunday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake and 9-10 AM, Monday at Mattson's. Interment in Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors accorded by American Legion Post 225.

Walter's family wishes to express their gratitude to the American Legion for all they have done.
