Walter Marier

Walter R. Marier, age 76 of Forest Lake, died Tuesday, July 15, 2015. Walter was born August 3, 1938 in Centerville, Minnesota, the son of Joseph and Louise (Marcotte) Marier. He worked for many years in Forest Lake, most recently as a personal assistant at The Forest Laker. In addition to The Forest Laker he worked at the American Legion Post 225 and McDonalds. He is preceded in death by his parents; nine siblings. He is survived by his dear friend and caregiver, Peter Paidar and his family; brothers, Andrew and Ivan Marier; several other family and dear friends. Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2015 at the American Legion Post 225, 355 West Broadway Avenue, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. A Social Hour to follow.
