Willard James Houle, died on April 25, 2008 at 4:00 a.m. At the time of his death he was surrounded by "Joannie" his devoted wife of 67 years; sons, Jim (Sherri), Gary (Julie), Jeff (Cindy), Greg (Debbie); daughter Mary (Lyle) Koski; many of his 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.; sister June Patrin. He is preceded in death by his grandson Tony.
Willard a lifelong resident of Forest Lake was a committed member of the community and the parish of the Church of St. Peter. He was an avid sportsman and stellar card player who enjoyed going to work every day up until his 89th year. Most of all he loved to have his family at his home with his lovely Joan at his side just as he did at the time of his passing.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Church of St. Peter, 1250 South Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 3:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday and 9:00-10:00 a.m., Monday at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Interment will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 4th.
