William Robinson, Jr

William "Bill" H. Robinson Jr. age 70 of Forest Lake; formerly of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at Birchwood Health Care Center. Bill was born December 3, 1941 in St. Joseph, Missouri, the son of William and Rev. Juanita "Peggy" Robinson. He graduated from Benton High School and was a proud member of the class of 1959. He enlisted in the United States Army where he served our country during the Vietnam Era. He spent most of his life as an over the road truck driver. He was the past president of the South Side Lions, St. Joseph, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Sherry Meissner in 1989 and they later moved to Minnesota in 2000 where they made their home until his death. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Rev. Juanita "Peggy"; sister, Rev. Judy Robinson. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sherry; children, Joe Robinson, Penny Bolin, Nicky Conger; step daughter, Tammy Street; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; other family and friends. A Celebration of His Life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 at Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 1790 11th Street SE, Forest Lake, Minnesota. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Family interment will be held at the Mount Olivet Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri.
