William Schneider

William “Bill” Schneider, age 86 of Forest Lake, died, Monday, February 2, 2009. Bill was born November 21, 1922 in Oshawa Township, Minnesota, the son of Joe and Julia (Unseitig) Schneider. During his working career, Bill was employed at the state’s Fish Hatchery, Babcock Quarry and Twin City Arsenal. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Julia (Unseitig) Schneider; siblings, Joseph, Agnes, Edward, William and an infant brother. He is survived by his children, Michael (Lisa Fransway) Schneider, Philip (Julie) Schneider, Donna (George) Wasmundt; grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Brittan, Andrew (Denise) Schneider, Aaron Schneider, KayLana Wasmundt, Cassandra Wasmundt, Corey Wasmundt, Ashley Fransway Schneider, Tammy Fransway Schneider, Lloyd Fransway Schneider; great grandchildren, Tanner Schneider, Josephine Wasmundt; siblings, John Schneider, Julia Spoors, Katherine Drummond, Leona Bliss, Mary (Arden) Thompson; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 6, 2009 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. Visitation will be 6:00-9:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are preferred to the family.
